Our performance eyewear system was developed over a two year technical testing period, involving New York City athletes and Japanese engineering. The frame features D+ lens technology, an adjustable hypoallergenic rubber nose pad and temple tips with a titanium core.
D+ Water Gray lens was developed for physical pursuits around water. The lens offers 100% UVA/B protection while transmitting 10.76% of visible light and 8.83% of blue light.. Athletes often forget sunglasses are a medical device. Our eyes contain low levels of melanin. This means each time we expose them to sunlight they become more sensitive.
The Sports Lens of the Future
D+ lens technology is constructed from a proprietary form of polycarbonate, which is shatterproof. The lens interior features an anti-reflective application for holistic eye protection. The lens is finished with our oleophobic treatment making it water and oil repellent.
