Face Shape and Fit Guide
Face Shape
Heart
Your forehead and cheekbones are wider than your jaw line. You also have a pointy chin.
Round
The length and width of your face are about the same. If you have a round face, your cheekbones are just the widest part of your face and your jaw will be curved.
Oblong
Similar to the oval shape, but longer and less wide. The chin is also on the pointy side.
Square
Your forehead and jawline are the same width. Your jawline is defined, with only a minimal curve.
Oval
Lucky you, you can wear almost any frame! Your forehead is slightly wider than your chin. The length of your face is roughly one and a half times the width.
Understanding Frame Size.
Frame measurements are important to keep in mind if you are wanting a precise fit. Thanks to a standard system of measurements, it is fairly easy to pinpoint a size that works for you.
Lens or eye width, bridge size, and temple length are the three main measurements to figure. They are measured in millimeters.

EYE
40 - 62mm
This measurement determines the horizontal length of one lens. The range is 40-62mm. Average size 49-51mm. For sunglasses, bump your average up by at least two millimeters to accommodate for oversized frames.
Bridge
14 - 25mm
The bridge measurement is the distance between the two lenses. Range is 14-24mm. Average size is 18-21mm. If you have a small bridge, stick with a frame below 20mm. Keep in mind that a frame with nose pads is adjustable and will guarantee a better fit.
Temple
120 - 150mm
The temple length is simply the length of the two arms that extend to the ears and support the frame. Specific temple lengths should only be considered if you know that your ears are placed closer or farther from your nose beyond what is noted as average. Range is 120-150mm. Average adult size is 145-148mm.
