Drawing influence from graceful paintings housed in museums that capture an enigmatic atmosphere, our modern take towards the classic design is recreated with a new silhouette hinted by the singular circular lens. This inspiration applied into modest design. MM-0057 has a gap on the top of front which is created without using a nylon wire.
Art is a huge source of inspiration for Masahiro Maruyama. The concept is “unfinished art ––finding beauty in the incomplete”. Whereas classical frame designs are symmetrical and beautifully completed, Masahiro’s asymmetric frames are “unfinished”, creating evocative, eccentric designs.
