We Won't Turn A Blind Eye to Racism & Injustice

blind eye Black Optical stands in solidarity with the Black Community. Inclusion has been a core tenant of our business since opening in 2007 and now more than ever we remain committed to supporting the people and communities we serve especially our black community members, customers and friends. We see you, we hear you and we stand with you.

The Black Optical team has created this specially designed microfiber clean cloth to show our support as we help fight racism hatred and injustice.

100% of the proceeds of our new microfiber eyewear cleaning cloths will go to the Greenwood Cultural Center in Tulsa to help preserve African American heritage and promote positive images of the African American community. Available for Pre-order by clicking here. ETA is July 10, 2020
The Greenwood Cultural Center is the keeper of the flame for the Black Wall Street era, the events known as the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot, and the astounding resurgence of the Greenwood District in the months and years following the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre (to date, still the single deadliest and most destructive act of racial violence and domestic terrorism in United States history). We started in Tulsa and we love Tulsa. This is a small way we can help give back. We encourage everyone to visit the Greenwood Cultural Center’s website to learn more about their mission and ways to support this amazing organization.
