District Vision's first experiment was initiated over two years ago when they started testing sports eyewear technology with a group of downtown runners. Combining real-life feedback with Japanese engineering, the Keiichi running sunglass system was born – a proprietary solution for athletes, handmade in Japan.

The Nagata speed blade for runners is an ultra-lightweight nylon and titanium frame construction. The D+ lens is handcut and polished in Japan for unrivaled visibility in various performance conditions..

The Keiichi performance eyewear system was developed over a two year technical testing period, involving New York City athletes and Japanese engineering. The frame features D+ lens technology, rubber/titanium nose pad and temple tips.

The Kaishiro frame is designed and engineered for maximum comfort in high performance conditions. The frame was tested with a range of runners between California, Colorado and New York City. The frame features a reinforced hinge and 55 millimetre diameter lens.
